Yes. The Boudane Élégance and Prestige are water resistant to 50 metres (5 ATM), suitable for swimming and light water activities. The Souverain Black Automatic is water resistant to 30 metres (3 ATM), suitable for splashes and brief immersion. We recommend removing your watch before swimming in pools (due to chlorine) or engaging in water sports.

The Boudane Souverain Black uses an automatic self-winding mechanical movement — it powers itself from the natural motion of your wrist, requiring no battery. The Souverain's open-heart dial allows you to observe this movement in action.

Sapphire crystal is the gold standard in watch glass. With a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale (second only to diamond), it is virtually scratch-proof under normal wear conditions. All Boudane watches feature sapphire crystal, ensuring your timepiece maintains its pristine clarity for years. The Souverain features sapphire crystal on both the front and the caseback, allowing full visibility of the movement.

To maintain your Boudane's appearance, wipe it periodically with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid contact with perfumes, chemicals, and solvents. Store it in the provided box or a watch roll when not wearing it. For the Souverain automatic, wearing it regularly keeps it wound; if stored for extended periods, use a watch winder or manually wind it before wearing. We recommend professional servicing every 3–5 years.

Our 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Battery replacement for quartz models (Élégance and Prestige) is not covered under warranty as it is considered routine maintenance, similar to an oil change. Batteries typically last 2–3 years. We recommend having batteries replaced by a qualified watchmaker to maintain water resistance seals.
